+ Why does meat without sauce cost more?

Since our meat is sold by the pound, without the weight of sauce, you're getting more meat, which is more expensive than sauce.

+ How much does 1 lb of meat serve?

You can get roughly 4 quarter pound sandwiches out of 1 pound of meat. Now, as to how many that will serve is up to you and your hungry guests.

+ How many ribs are in a half slab & full slab?

Our ribs are sold by weight to ensure everyone gets the same amount, but it's typically around 5 bones per half, 10 per whole.

+ ARE BOOTLEG'S HOT & STICKY WINGS SPICY?

Our Hot & Sticky Wings have a lil heat to them, but they won't make ya sweat. They're just the right combination of sweet & heat.

+ What flavor are your wings?

Our wings come in just one flavor: Hot & Sticky. We toss our wings in a homemade rub, slow smoke em for 3 hours, and then serve them straight to you.

+ What kind of sauce do you have for your wings?

Sauce? You don't need no stinkin' sauce for our wings. We don't carry OR recommend using ranch, blue cheese, or any other kind of dippin's on our Hot & Sticky Wings.

+ Why do wings require a 3 hour call ahead time?

+ WHAT BOOTLEG SIDES ARE MOST POPULAR?

Depends on who ya ask, but our Tater Salad has always been one of our most recognized & praised dishes. Other popular sides include our Green Beans, Baked Beans, & of course our Twice Baked Taters. Heck, they're all good.

+ What is Twice Baked Taters?

Twice Baked Taters are mashed taters loaded with sour cream, a lil bit of chives, a sprinkle or two of parmesan, & then topped with a cheddar cheese sauce & our housemade Smokey Bits (bacon crumbles).

+ What is Cactus Salad?

Cactus Salad is a spicy, vinegar-based version of our Cole Slaw. If ya like it, put a little on your BBQ sandwich and thank us later.

+ What kind of Cole Slaw do you have?

Our slaw is preparred with finely cut cabbage, carrots, & green peppers, tossed in our homemade mayo-based creamy slaw dressing.

+ How much will a pint, 1/2 gallon, & a 1 gallon feed?

That all depends on folks appetites, but typically:

• 1 piint will feed 3 - 4 folks.
• 1/2 gallon will feed 10 - 15 folks.
• 1 gallon will feed 25 - 30 folks.

Burgoo is a hearty stew that includes a variety of meats & fresh veggies.

+ Chili - what the heck is Terlingua?

Terlingua is a town in Texas that hosts the most famous chili cookoff in the country. Why'd we name our chili after a town in Texas? 'Cause we "borrowed" one of it's winning recipes.

+ What is Cajun Chicken Gumbo?

Our Cajun Chicken Gumbo is a hearty soup that includes a mix of smoked chicken, onions, peppers, celery, & our homemade cajun seasoning straight from the bayous of Louisiana. Served over a generous bed of white rice.

+ ARE YOUR DESSERTS HOMEMADE?

All of our desserts are prepared in house. Our made-from-scratch bread pudding is one of our signature desserts, & we top if off with our homemade Kentucky bourbon sauce.

+ What is a Butter Cream Pie?

Our Butter Cream Pie is a sweet & creamy pie baked in a delicious crust & served warm with a caramel drizzle sauce.

+ What is French Silk Pie?

French Silk Pie is made with rich & chocolately mousse, topped with whipped cream & chocolate shavings. Don't let the name fool you though - this decadent desserts origins have more in common with Babe Ruth than the Eiffel Tower.

Although our BBQ sauce does contain gluten, our naked meats do not. Any of our smoked meats without sauce are gluten free. Our gluten free sides include:

Although Bootleg doesn't use nuts as an ingredient in any of our products, some of our items are processed in facilities that also process nuts.

We do not use red food coloring in any of our menu items.

Sorry, folks. It's slim pickin's for vegan dishes, but we're working on it! The following items are vegan:

+ What kind of sauces do you have?

We have 6 homemade sauces.

• Mild: Rich & bold with a hint of sweet. Our original and most famous sauce.
• Cajun Sauce: Made with five different peppers & fiery spices. (hot)
• Carolina Mustard Sauce: A blend of four mustards, vinegar, honey, & spices.
• Texas Red: Medium hot & tangy, brewed with Texas-style spices.
• Kentucky Black: Thin, dark, vinegar & worcestershire-based sauce.
• Sugar-Free Sauce: All the taste of our mild sauce, but without the sugar!

BANQUET ROOMS

+ Does Bootleg have space for private parties?

Yep! We have 2 banquet rooms that can be reserved for private events. For more information, please send us an email to [bootleg.catering@gmail.com][0] and include your contact information, along with the date and other details of your event.

+ How many people fit in your banquet rooms?

Our small banquet room seats up to 12, while our large banquet room can seat 40, but we recommend keeping it to around 30 - 35 so that it's not too cramped.

+ Do you have buffets available for the banquet rooms?
